Life - Keith Richards |
||
|
The human riff, Keith Richards, is an enigma of rock music. With the group going strong many years after its debut in the clubs of London staying power is certainly one description that can be applied to Keith. His legendary drinking, drug taking and lifestyle, even falling out of a tree in New Zealand, have helped to develop an image, one, he admits, he has helped to further. However, underlying everything is the fact that Keith Richards is one of the greatest guitarists of all time and a great songwriter as well as the bedrock of the Rolling Stones. There is little doubt that, despite all the other "sideshows" Keith is predominantly a musician who believes in what he does and he does it very well. He also comes across as a very honest and genuine man who does not hide behind others. Life is a weighty book, quite rightly so as it has a lot to cover. |
