Not THE Cavern Club, that one was in Liverpool. However, London had its own Cavern Club at 5 Leicester Place, off Leicester Square, deep in the heart of the West End which was known as Cavern in the Town. This was underneath the Adlib Club.

The band first played there on 5 June 1965 as their first gig billed as The Small Faces. the group had a regular residency at the club. Don Arden was in the audience at this first gig and approached them afterwards with an offer of management.

The venue is now known as the Notre Dame Hall.
